Stride with Purpose, Mobile Needle Exchange Program
Health van provides clients with needle exchange, harm reduction supplies, and referrals to other community resources; phone the mobile van cell number for supplies and/or specific information on schedule and routes (604-351-1885). Also provides opioid users with free Take Home Naloxone Kits (Narcan) that can be used to reverse the effects of overdoses from opioids like fentanyl, heroin, methadone, morphine, and oxycodone. A needle exchange and Naloxone Kits are also available at the main office reception. Office hours are 8:30 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday. Serves Burnaby, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Maple Ridge, New Westminster, Pitt Meadows,and other communities within the Fraser Health Region.
Our Health Van is out and about in the community five days a week and serves street-entrenched populations, drug users, and sex trade workers anywhere from Burnaby to Maple Ridge and Langley. Wave us down or call us if you would like to access these services:
