The Sexual Health Clinics promote healthy sexuality through confidential, low-cost or no-cost services to Oxford County residents. Public Health Nurses also offer testing, counseling and referral to appropriate community agencies. The harm reduction program is aimed at preventing blood borne infections such as HIV and Hepatitis by providing new needles and equipment to help clients avoid sharing these items. This program offers clean needles and other harm reduction supplies including alcohol swabs, filters, tourniquets, cookers, vitamin C, sterile water, and sharps containers as well as safe disposal of used needles.
