We have always operated on a non abstinence or harm reduction approach, which forms the philosophical basis for all our work, in reducing harm and enhancing the health of our clients. Harm reduction is a set of practical strategies that reduce the negative consequences of drug use, incorporating a spectrum of strategies from safer use, to managed use, to abstinence.
