Get Your Drugs Tested is the worlds largest repository of drug analysis results. We are a community service entirely funded and operated by The Medicinal Cannabis Dispensary. We are certified by Vancouver Coastal Health as an Overdose Prevention Site but we receive no government funding and are independently run. We have a special machine called an FTIR Spectrometer which can help identify your sample and tell us what it is comprised of. The test takes 10-15 minutes on average and does not destroy the sample. The machine shines an infrared laser onto the substance. The software produces a spectrum that we can analyze to identify the substances in your sample. We also use test strips on your sample. These are more sensitive and can test for even trace amounts of fentanyl, benzodiazepines or lysergamides. We are currently offering drug testing nationwide through the mail, and in Vancouver. You can email us for our mailing information or samples can be dropped off for testing at 880 East Hastings from 12 8pm daily. We do not charge a fee or require a donation for drug analysis. The kinds of drugs we can test: Psychedelics like LSD, MDMA, MDA Stimulants like meth, cocaine, cathinones Opioids like heroin and fentanyl Others like ketamine, PCP, steroids Pharmaceuticals like Viagra, Xanax and Oxycodone (we must crush your pill to test it) The kinds of drugs we cannot test: Organic samples like cannabis, mushrooms, kratom, peyote or salvia Drugs in foods like candies or brownies Drugs that are at levels below 5% of the sample (we use test strips as listed above to detect substances below this threshold) Most liquid samples (we can test GHB) What the FTIR test does: Detects what substances are in the sample. For example, if you bring in a capsule which you believe is MDMA, we can confirm if it is only MDMA or contains other drugs or substances. We can also identify filler substances. As the machine cant detect below 5%, there may be any combination of substances below that threshold (ie. solvents, precursors, reactionary byproducts, etc). Show the levels of a substance within the material. For example: this test can tell you if your capsule is 30% MDMA and 70% filler or 80% MDMA and 20% filler. The results are approximate. Get Your Drugs Tested also functions as a community Harm Reduction & Education Centre. Aside from drug testing, we educate our clients about substances and safer consumption practices. Our knowledgeable staff will answer your questions about the substance you wish to consume, what effects it might have, any considerations you should make, as well as how to consume it safer. With limited education in schools around safer substance use, we aim to educate our clients so they may make more informed decisions. On site we have have safer snorting, smoking and injection supplies that we distribute free of charge. We further support the community with snacks, refreshments, first aid supplies and personal care items.
