A team of family doctors, nurse practitioners, public health nurses and clerical staff work together to offer: - Birth control methods at a lower cost- with a prescription from your Doctor or Nurse Practitioner - Access to our Clinic Doctor for intrauterine device (IUD) or system (IUS) prescription and insertion - Emergency Contraceptive Pill (ECP) called Plan B at a lower cost compared to the drug store price. (Please note: Plan B must be taken as soon as possible after sex to prevent a pregnancy. If it has been more than 5 days, it is too late to take Plan B). - Free pregnancy testing. If you find out you are pregnant, we can talk to you about what choices you have. If you are not pregnant, you can talk to us about birth control use. - Sexually transmitted infection (STI) information and testing. For some STI infections, free medication is also available for treatment.
