We provide specialized health care and wraparound supports in a safe and welcoming space. The Hive Health Services team provides compassionate care, with a focus on dignity and respect. Our services include:

HIV health care and wraparound supports:

• HIV/AIDS treatment and management
• PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) services
• Sexually-transmitted Infection (STI) testing and counseling
• Dietitian and nutritional counseling
• Supporting and engaging people in their health care and basic needs (service connection and engagement)
• Social worker access for mental health counseling
• Health and social service system navigation support

Gender affirming care and wraparound supports (18+):

• Initiation and monitoring of hormone replacement therapy, surgical funding applications/referrals
• Post-operative care
• Hormonal treatment options for those looking for medical support through transitioning
• Support in exploring gender identity/expression and physical adjustments
• Supporting and engaging people in their health care and basic needs (service connection and engagement)
• Dietitian and nutritional counseling
• Social worker access for mental health and relational counseling

Harm reduction services:

Effective April 1, 2024, Guelph CHC delivers Stay Sharp (Needle Exchange Program).

HIV support services:Effective April 1, 2024, HIV support services are provided in Guelph by The AIDS Committee of Cambridge, Kitchener Waterloo and Area (ACCKWA).
