McEwan Housing and Support Services
A program of LOFT Community Services, we provide supportive housing for men and women, sixteen years of age or older, with special needs (such as mental health or addiction related issues) and living with HIV/AIDS. Two houses are 24 hr staffed and can handle complex needs. We also have a co-op house providing a more independant living situation for five residents and supportive housing in an apartment building. We also provide a Community Support Program for individuals who live independantly in the community. Members living in the community may also access McEwan's Respite Program The Respite Program at the high support residence to stabilize health, including mental health and substance use challenges. These are goal oriented stays ranging from days to months. McEwan also operates the Service Coordination Project and provides Case manageemnt to the Addictions Supportive Housing Program, a McEwan/Fife partnership.
