Our clinics are staffed with nurses and doctors, and are located at our public health offices across Wellington, Dufferin, and Guelph. We can help you with: Relationship issues and making decisions about sex Birth control counselling and product sales; help if you missed a pill Re-order your birth control online Emergency contraceptive pill (Plan B, morning-after pill) Sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing and treatment Pregnancy tests and options counselling Anonymous HIV tests Hepatitis A and B immunizations (for people at high risk) Free clean needles/pipes/stems for safe drug use Free condoms High school clinics Public Health nurses are also available in Upper Grand District high schools and can provide the following services: Relationship issues and making decisions about sex Birth control counselling and product sales; help if you missed a pill Emergency contraceptive pill (Plan B, morning-after pill) Sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing and treatment Pregnancy tests and options counselling Anonymous HIV tests Hepatitis A and B immunizations (for people at high risk) Free condoms Complete the Gardasil vaccines if you started the series in grade 8 but did not get all three doses HIV testing All of our clinics can do HIV testing. You dont need a health card to have an HIV test. We also offer anonymous HIV testing, where your name is not recorded on the test. Rapid Point of Care (or POC) tests that will give you results the same day are available at our Chancellors Way office for anyone who fits into the following categories: Gay men and other men who have sex with men (MSM) People who inject drugs People from HIV endemic countries (African/Caribbean/Black Ontarian) Indigenous populations Women at risk Needle exchange We provide free, confidential counselling, support, and referrals. We also provide needle exchange, new needles, sterile water, alcohol swabs, filters, cookers, acidifiers, tourniquets, pipes, stems, pipe screens, latex condoms, and lubricant.
