The Social Housing Registry of Ottawa (The Registry) is a non-profit organization that maintains the central waiting list for people applying for rent-geared-to-income (RGI) housing. The Registry keeps the list according to rules set out by the Province of Ontario in the Housing Services Act, 2011. The Registry includes housing providers and community housing agencies working together to make it easier to apply for subsidized housing in Ottawa.
