During the day, Wednesday evenings until 8 p.m. and Saturday mornings, the Wakaw Primary Health Centre is staffed with physicians, a nurse practitioner, and a registered nurse. The centre offers a wide range of services, including Home Care, Lab/X-Ray, Chronic Disease Management, Mental Health and Addiction Services, Population and Public Health, and Physical and Occupational Therapy.

All other days of the week until midnight and on Sunday’s from 8:00 a.m. to midnight, the facility is run as a CEC, and is staffed by paramedics. The paramedics provide assessments and treatments based on direction from off-site physicians who are located in Rosthern.
